Greetings to all PM and wanna be,The purpose of this web site:
(1) Lateral learning - sharing of Project Management knowledge. Hence calls forth posting of articles, and questions to a distribution list for expert opinions.To take one step further, at a later stage may also include sharing of books and training materials where one member will courier to another, and returning it to the owner in the same manner.
(2) Networking of Project Management professionals, and wanna be. Enable members to contact each other, knowing who is who, and whom does what so one knows who to contact. Maintaining an accessible database of contact details and background of members where later it may serve as a one stop for companies that wants to hire project management professionals in Sarawak and Malaysia. This may also serve as business opportunities for PM community too.
In fact with the internet technology the above objectives can be achieved via:
(a) Agreed to one standard medium of online electronic communication such as Skype, or MSN where members can contact each other on real time basis. Would prefer Skype, and it can be downloaded from this link www.skype.com
(b) This web site for posting of articles which is still at its infancy stage.
(c) Create a group mailing to facilitate lateral learning, hence would best if you can provide personal email addresses.
